The Early Years The year was 1977

The PVC industry was beginning to spread its wings. Recognizing this as an opportunity area, the Group made a small beginning the same year in Kolkata. From the very start, the Group’s focus was clear. It established a niche for itself in the shoe & cable industries as a quality supplier of PVC Compounds. After that, there was no looking back. The Group charted an aggressive strategy for growth through capacity expansion and diversification action.

A Pan India Presence
Within just seven years from start of operations, the Group established a modern unit at Daman for the manufacture of PVC compounds. Sustained growth over the next decade necessitated another round of expansion in 1994, when the group set up a second unit in Daman. This state-of-the art plant employed the latest process technology to manufacture XLPE compounds.

A Global Focus
Having established itself as a leader in PVC compounding, the group realized that its core strength was in “Compounding” and thus decided to look beyond PVC by setting up units to manufacture specialty compounds like Silane and Preoxide based XLPE, zero halogen FRLS, NBR/PVC, Anti Fibrillation, semi-conductive, automotive, cross linkable EVA foam compound and also additive master batches for both National and International markets. Further the group is diversified into manufacturing Engineering Plastic Compounds.

The Pillars
Today, under the dynamic stewardship of Late D.C. Surana, Founder of the group and Mr. Narrindra Suranna, CMD. the group has culminated to attain a status of largest manufacture of polymer compounds in India with an installed capacity of PVC compounds – 59,000 MT, Silane based compound – 96,600 MT, XLPE compound ranging from 11 KV to 220 KV – 30,000 MT, PE & PP filled compound – 48,500 MT, Semicon compound – 10,900 MT for strippable and non-strippable applications, Halogen Free Flame Retardant (HFFR) compound – 2,000 MT and Engineering Plastic Compounds – 14,500 MT. The quality of all products conforms to national & international standards.
